Phoenix

round two of supercross was in phoenix this past weekend... ryans head continued to bother him so he only rode once before the race. At this point in my life i just want ryan to remain healthy. We packed up the beem and drove 5 hours to phoenix! phoenix is seriously a hole.. its brown, ghetto and just gross!  we headed to our hotel.. the sleep inn.. yup it was the size of a cardboard box and smelt like mold! Lovely... ryan had a dealer show about an hour out of phoenix.. by the time we got out of the dealer show it was eight and we still had to eat. We found a really nice outdoor mall and saw a yardhouse.. score! yup hour and a half wait! so we wandered around the mall and found a sadle ranch.. yum!

saturday is race day.. ryan looked decent in practice and qualified 10th.. no worries because last year he qualified 12th and almost won! Ryan still wasnt riding like himself but i had faith in him. in the heat race ryan got a bad start and got 6th.. no i was nervous! in the main he got a GREAT start! he almost got the holeshot.. he got passed right away and was in third! I was so excited until the 16 year old ken roczen was right behind him! kenny crashed and took down someone else with him so it gave ryan some room to breathe! I was so excited i knew he was going to podium! ryan ended up third! he was happy and i was so happy for him! ryan got a horrible headache after the race.. so we decided he needs to still take more time off. all in all it was a good night.. he feels relived and so do i... praying and hoping he stays safe this weekend in LA..
