Oakland

This past weekend was the Oakland SX.. it was in a new venue. Normally its held in San Fran right on the bay.. and for some unkown reason they changed it to ghetto oakland! I flew up saturday morning because I worked on friday. So i took a quick southwest flight up and ryan picked me up at the airport.. The airport was about 5 minutes from the stadium so that was nice. It was really overcast and cold on saturday and according to weather.com there was a 30% chance of rain. But before we knew it it was raining.. well not really raining but sprinkling off and on. Oh joy.. an uncovered stadium and some rain! Ryan qualified i think 14th.. ehh thats my boy! He had a great heat race.. i hadnt seen him ride that good in a long time! He got second.. the main event ryan didnt get a good start but came out around 7th.. he passed a few people and was in 5th for a while... then Tyla got him back.. he said he got tight. I am just thankful he is safe as always.. now he is 3rd in points again. we need a miracle at this point for a championship but im so proud of him as always.

I am officially 8 weeks now.. baby is growing and so am i! my jeans are definitely getting tighter! Ryan is getting excited and keeps asking when we can find out what the baby is.. he is really hoping for a boy! I just want a healthy little bambino! I havent been too nauseated lately.. thank goodness! I have been eating for two though! OOPS! ryan told me today that since i am eating more so is he! =] I am feeling very blessed these days..

fyi.. oakland is beyond ghetto... dont ever go there!
