a quick trip...

so ryan and i decided to take a trip up to the carmel area. So we took the long trek up north on friday morning. It was a very boring and LONG drive. We went up with our good friends Billy and Amy, (did i mention she is 9 months pregnant?) So needless to say, there were a few stops on the way up! Once we got to the Carmel area it was worth the drive. We went down to ocean ave and walked around, ate lunch, and then I met up with my friend Melanie from nursing school! It was great to see her and vent about our jobs! 

Amy and Billy then gave us a little tour of carmel, we drove along the beach, saw some amazing houses, and then headed into carmel valley. Amy's family owns a cabin in carmel valley so we headed up a one lane road for 30 minutes and arrived at the cabin! Cooked dinner and relaxed! The cabin and the surrounding area were gorgeous! We really had a great time swimming, the boys played mini golf, botchi ball, ping pong, bad mitton, etc! The boys (tweedle dee and dumb) even caught a fish with a net!  My parents were in monterey for Moto GP so we met up with them on saturday for dinner! I also randomly ran into a friend from Junior high and a friend from the moto industry that i havent seen in a while! It was a quick trip but we had lots of fun! We headed home on sunday but had a great time.. here are some pictures!
