On call..

im on call.. 

for all you non medical peeps that means the census at the hospital was low or we were over staffed so therefore nurses get put on call which means you are at the hospitals beck and call. NOT COOL.   

I just realized that for the next tweleve hours im the hospitals bitch. awesome. You have to have your phone at your side at all times and if they call you must be at the hospital within 30 minutes. Oh did I mention I get a lovely 9 or 10 dollars an hour for being on call. no bueno.  I normally don't mind being "on call" but given the current economic condition I could use the dough, cheddar, moolah. OH WELL... it is our friends birthday... 'birdie', they call him (i don't know why). He has a time share and got a few nights in the fallbrook area. Its gorgeous. So I wouldn't mind going to the pools, but of corse I wouldn't be able to go till later. Ahh so for now I sit, wait and stare at my phone. Well here is a little glimps of my saturday for the time being.. i guess its not SO bad.
