its baby shower season for me anyways! This past weekend i had my first of three showers! My first shower was my Colorado Shower. It was lots of fun because i didn't have a wedding shower in Colorado and now i could share the baby with all of our family and friends in Colorado. Jacki called me earlier in the week and told me she wasn't able to make it due to Hudson's condition. I was bummed because I wanted to see her and the kids but i totally understood! I flew out Friday morning and my mom picked me up.. we were on our way to get some food and she told me i had a surprise! I immediately said Jacki is coming! She proceeded to tell me no but i just knew that was it! So we went back to the airport and found Jacki and Emma! I was SO excited! I hadn't seen them in a few months and Emma is a little girl now! I had so much fun with her and Jacki! It was SO good to see them! Emma was really curious about the baby.. and would ask things like "is the baby coming today?" "Where did you get your baby?" "Whats your baby doing?" it was really cute! Jacki said she wasn't very curious when she was pregnant not even 7 months ago! I cant believe how much she has changed!
My Shower was amazing! Debbie Strouts gave me a beautiful shower! Most of the guests were friends of my moms! Which was fine because Ive known them most of my life! It was awesome because Kristin Maine flew in from Nevada and Brandye and her family came. Grandma Short came down from Denver... It was good to see her! My two best Colorado friends. There were awesome owl decorations and yummy food! It was such a great day! We played games and chatted and opened presents! Emma helped me open all my presents so that was fun! It was a great shower and I'm looking forward to my other showers!
Kristins family really out did themselves with all my gifts! They got me stuff off my registry. And Isabell Kristin's mom made me a beautiful blanket! And Kristin's sister Sabrina drew me a picture of owls that matches my nursery perfect! It was so good to see Kristin!
My favorite gifts were the home made blankets and the owl drawing! It was awesome to get stuff off of my registry! its amazing to me how loved our little man is already. So looking forward to meeting him!
